exchange rate

been monitoring exchange rates almost everyday since currency does affect some decision making in my everyday job and each day i see, i will feel a bit saddened ... i've been to uk b4 and tat time the exchange rate was 6.8! (which i find was lower already compared to 7.2 or 7.3 last time) but i hvn't visit europe worr ... and d bloody euro now is already 4.9! and it was 3.6 or 3.7 back then! how to visit europe ooo???

touch screen

it's all becoming a norm and trend right now, so many different brands coming out with so many different types of touch screen phones. each with it's own distinctive design, taste and function. it's so mind-blogging to see what people can do with a palm-sized device nowadays compared to those phones say 10yrs ago. touch screen devices and multi-touch devices ... wonderful how 1 flat piece of plastic can do so much. which of the following do u think is worth using as a full function phone?

season's greetings ~ merry christmas!

ho ho ho, everybody having fun already? quite free today, had a christmas day off ... yesterday and today ... we went to a fren's house in mont kiara for a barbeque party with a whole bunch of colleagues n frens ... about 16 of us. it's a very nice place juz opposite plaza mont kiara.

bought lots of food, had drinks, music, and laughters ... all the way to 2am. by 12, we popped 2 bottles ... before we adjourn, we were thinking of where to go for new year ... in d end, we decided to think again nxt time ... haha~

nokia 8800

heard of this phone b4? they have a whole range of it and i love each n every one of it ... i've used the nk8810 before but it's been stolen :( ... anyway the new range is called sapphire arte ... here's another new 1 ... gold arte!



This precious puppy is dipped in 18-carat gold and has white leather on the front and back -- just in case the gold wasn't enough to prove its owners are living on the edge of obnoxious ostentation. Other than its looks, you can expect the newest 8800 to be pretty much identical to its Carbon Arte predecessor, with 3G, 4GB of flash memory, an OLED display and a 3.2 megapixel camera. We don't know exactly when it's slated for release in Europe, but we expect it to carry a pretty "impressive" price tag like it's previous predecessors.

yellowsn0w is the soft-unlock version for iphone 3g, set to be released to public on new year's eve ... hehe, good good. been waiting for it for so long, then i can subscribe to 3g unlimited data package already!

We have been working hard on a few other things. The main one being the 3G unlock codenamed “yellowsn0w”. This is now completed and is currently being packaged into a user-friendly application with the simplicity that you see in QuickPwn or BootNeuter.

* The target release date for the unlock is New Year’s Eve 2008.
* This unlock method is available to iPhone 3Gs that have 2.11.07 baseband or earlier, we did warn you.
* You can tell what version baseband you have by going to Settings->General->About->Modem Firmware
* The unlock requires a jailbroken 3G iPhone. It’ll be installable via Cydia and so it doesn’t matter if you have a Mac or PC.
* Please refrain from updating your baseband, regardless of what version you’re at. We’ll have complete directions on New Year’s Eve.

hehe, got an early lil' christmas present for myself. a 21.5" hd samsung lcd monitor ... nice nice ... with the specs written below

so there goes my 17" LG square lcd monitor which i bought for 500+ a yr and half ago (d same price i bought this 21.5" lcd ). using DVI cables now compared to the analogue cable i was using for my pc :) good good ... hehe

end of pc fair

today's sunday ... finally kl's 3day pc fair has ended :) hehe, it's d earliest tat we can finish packing and unloading back in lowyat altogether plus finishing supper and getting back by 1am ... it's been a small scale fair for us this time though but we've done well enough although there were some mishaps in between :) hehe, gratz gratz to everyone ... we had 5 booths in total, including packing up and unloading, it's considered very very early compared to last time where we can only finish unloading around 1am or half past 12 ... hehe

so many ppl bought laptops, bought cameras, bought lcds, bought network products, bought printers, bought computers but there were also a lot of ppl running around with huge dslrs capturing moments of the fair, and of course not to miss ... pretty pretty promoter girls : babes :o

nike rejuven8

it's been a while since my last post ... been travelling around between work, home and d hospital ... dad's still in d hospital right now, since 28th november, he's doing well right now juz tat the docs are scheduling a scan for his kidneys before making sure and confirming that he can be released from the hospital.

btw, pc fair's around the corner and it's on this weekend 12-14 december in KLCC (convention center) and i'll b there for the whole 3 days so if u happen to drop by do let me know :)

back to my topic, christmas, new year and cny is also around the corner too so i'm sure tat many ppl are preping themselves up with new gears n apparels plus the on-going sale tat's going on as well ... hehe, wanted to get a new pair of shoes for myself but then been looking around for a mth n i still couldn't get my hands on this specific pair of shoes around town. is it that difficult to get ?? hmm, it's a shoe called nike rejuven8 ... not any normal ones but this specific pair which i like the color pairing though :)



here are the other colors that come along with it as well ... i saw a few other different colors and some small difference in the design in some nike shops but still couldn't find the one on top ... grrr





if anyone is able to spot the red white rejuven8 pls let me know alright ?? hehe, would appreciate tat a lot :) time to go to bed since there's a fair for me to go in a few hrs time ... hoho, until next post ... have a nice dAY!
