ads refer to advertisements ... usually it's seen everywhere, from billboards, to road signs, to maps, to television, to radio, to newspapers, basically every media tat can occur to ppl. wonder why all these?? exposure u might say :)

now ppl found a very purpose n cost effective way to advertise, which is thru d internet. hehe, i'm sure u've seen it all over d place already n it's been there for quite some time juz that are you aware of it?

do u know tat each and every of this ads come in a low price but generates quite an amount of revenue? even to the advertisers n d sponsors as well. each click on any advertisements u come across can generate a revenue? clicking ads = clicking money is wat i would say :) but of course, it has to b a substantial amount to be able to cash it out. u can't expect d sponsors to pay u 1 cent every month? even their cheque or bank charges costs more.

tat is why u see ads popping up in a high hit website compared to a low population website :) what's a high hit? every time u visit a website it's considered a hit, so if it's a high hit means many ppl visit tat website n usually it's calculated on a daily basis. d higher d hit, d better chance of u gaining some revenue off ur website by advertising :)
