yellowsn0w complete

after several hours of fiddling with my iphone (upgrading, restoring and rebooting) i finally completed the upgrade to version 2.2 and unlocked my iphone 3g (uk version) successfully. it is now able to work with any 3rd party sim card and also any telco. here are some images i took ...

the only drawback is that i have to re-insert the simcard each time i restart the phone. (which i hope the dev team can fix this soon) so i'll be keeping my turbosim away!

Update : previously i was using 0.9.1 beta version of yellowsn0w and now it's already reached 0.9.4 beta (talk about efficiency) hehe, for those who're using yellowsn0w pls upgrade to the latest version of it. the dev-team has made some changes allowing faster injection of the daemon unlocker during startup which means u can get ur carrier a little bit faster compared to the earlier versions. this however doesn't fix the bug which requires you to reinsert the sim again if u couldn't get your connection after 1 minute from reboot.
