just got back home ... it's 2.30 in the morning ... it's raining ... since evening right up till now ... i hope i was jus back from a drinking session or a clubbing session ... but i'm not ... i was jus back from the um medical center ... dad was admitted into the hospital yesterday evening ... i went over to see him once i finish work.
on d way back home, through the very common n familiar federal highway, the journey felt ... long and difficult ... i thought, mayb it's because of the rain, or mayb i was driving alone, or mayb it's 2 in d morning, or mayb the road was slippery n i was hydroplanning for a bit ... the usual 10 minutes drive took me double the time to reach home ... i've never seen dad in such great amount of pain ... hurts me so much and i couldn't do anything but to hold his hands ... and i guess the rain got into my eyes for some reason ...
dad's feet n neck were a bit swollen about a week ago, we all knew there was smth wrong ... he didn't wanna go for a checkup until finally he went n he was diagnosed for kidney failing, anemia ;which was new; and mild diabetes ... he's been through that once but this was different ... he's 59 this year ...
mum was d most worried ... and it was elder sis who've been alongside them for d whole day ... younger sis came along after work ... even uncle n aunt visited dad for the night ... they were all very worried ... including me myself at work ... i'm sorry to my colleagues n friends if i'm a bit too serious at work today ...
dad has been strong for us all through his 59 long years and he will continue to stay strong for a lot more years to come ... dearest mum, pls stay strong n both my dear sisters ... let us all be strong for dad ...
