lisa
picture of a thousand words ...
a mac advert i saw depicting the personal computer approximately 25yrs back. the introduction of apple's project called lisa(local integrated software architecture), trying to re-invent the usage of a personal computer with graphical user interface (compared to line to line command interface).
yes, it's been sold at $9,995 USD at that time (a bloody premium to pay for a personal computer) which is equivalent to $21,000 2008 dollars converted (plus minus the inflation and blablabla). although considered a commercial failure at time due to cheaper and popular IBM PC, it was still a technology from the dreams of steve jobs (apple's boss), which he managed to achieve successfully.
doesn't mean much but there's always success n failures in someone's life, so don't fall apart becoz of 1 failure given it's small or big but learn from it and work to improve on it. someday, somehow, u will make it :)
and people complain that their pc is slow when they don't know they're paying RM900 for a 2000Mhz dual core processor with 4000MB worth of RAM...lolz! humans juz won't be satisfied...
*lisa is the name of the first daughter of steve jobs.
